Dr. Wanda VaughnDr. Wanda Vaughn earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 1996. She then earned her Master of Science Degree from the University of Central Arkansas and has her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry. Dr. Vaughn is a Board Certified Fellow in Vision Development (F.O.V.D.R.).After graduating optometry school she went on to establish a private practice in 2005. Arkansas Vision Development Center is located in Fort Smith Arkansas. Along with providing general optometry care to families, Dr. Vaughn provides visual rehabilitation for patients with visual dysfunctionsShe is a member of the American Optometric Association and Arkansas Optometric Association. Dr. Vaughn currently serves on the committee of the Arkansas Optometric Public Relations Committee and the Third Party Center Committee. She is a director board member of Vision Arkansas, The Charitable Foundation of Arkansas Optometric Association. She also serves as a committee member on many other boards within the state of Arkansas.Dr. Vaughn not only lectures in her state of Arkansas, but across the country. She is active in providing educational lectures to professionals on the visual system and how it affects the quality of life and visual learning. Dr. Vaughn spends time volunteering by doing school screenings for head start programs and preschoolers. She has established an externship program with The Southern College of Optometry which provides fourth year student doctor the opportunity to further their education.Dr. Vaughn is married to Lee Vaughn and has three sons Jake, Stone, and Reid. Outside of her passion for optometry, her life is devoted to her family.

Dr. Katherine RameyDr. Ramey graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She completed her Bachelor in Biochemistry at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and her residency in vision therapy, rehabilitation, and pediatric optometry at Arkansas Vision. She is a Fellow of the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association and a co-supervisor of the residency program.

Dr. Cassandra WoodAssociateDr. Cassandra Wood graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She completed her bachelor’s in chemistry at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois. She advanced in her profession by completing a residency in Vision Therapy, Rehabilitation and Pediatric Optometry at Arkansas Vision Development Center in 2021.

Dr. Bryley BanksResidency DoctorDr. Bryley Banks graduated from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and her Doctorate of Optometry from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Dr. Banks is currently completing her residency here at Arkansas Vision Development Center.
